Alison Pfaff, News Editor

Q: What made you want to be a teacher at Central?

A: I chose to be a teacher because I wanted to take my knowledge and share it with others. I wanted to enrich with the many different facets of agriculture the youth around the world and I kind of ended up at Central. My wife is working in the area and the job came up  in the spring and it worked out really well. I applied for it, interviewed and [I am happy] because it was not only a job in the area that I went for, but it was at a really nice school that I actually wanted to teach at. So it turned out really well for me because of those aspects and since being here for the first four weeks I wouldn’t say I have any second thoughts.

Q: What did you do before you taught at Central?

A: Before I taught at Central I was a Sales Representative  for a screen-printing and embroidering company in Dubuque, Iowa. We did teen apparel, custom apparel and corporate apparel. We offered t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos, pens, cozies, banners and trophies. Anything that you wanted with your name on it we could do.

Q: What sports and activities did you do in high school?

A: In high school I was involved in Future Farmers of America, a member of prom committee and the wrestling and cross country teams.

Q: If you were to get in trouble in class what would it be for?

A: Talking. Definitely talking.

Q: What are some fun and interesting facts about yourself?

A: I am a huge fan of college sports.
