Q: What’s your name?
A: “My name is [Erin] LeRoy.”
Q: What is your position here at Central?
A: “I am the department chair for school counseling.”
Q: What did you do before coming to Central?
A: “I was initially a special education teacher at Naperville North and a department chair for special education at Naperville North. I was a 504 coordinator for the junior highs and all of that led me here.”
Q: What are your hobbies?
A: “I have two little ones, so my hobbies are theirs. They are six and seven. So, soccer and gymnastics and dance and Girl Scouts. I love to travel and listen to books on tape. I love musicals and jigsaw puzzles.”
Q: What is a goal you have this year?
A: “I think right now this year, I am trying my best to get to know staff and students here and really dive into the culture, especially with the college and career center changing over to the PARC this year. I’m really interested in pathways and endorsements and seeing what resources are out there for that.“
Q: Is there anything else you would like to talk about?
A: “I am just so thrilled to be here and love the culture already after the big assembly last week.”
