Nancy Sandercock, a former substitute teacher at Central, passed away yesterday.

Sandercock passed away at St. Patrick’s Residence, a nursing and rehabilitation center in Naperville, Wednesday evening and was, according to one source, surrounded by her family at the time of her death.

An email was sent to staff members of Central informing them of her death. A memorial service is being planned, but no date has been set. The email says the service date will be “sometime after the holidays.”

Sandercock is survived by her husband Jay, who has also served as a substitute teacher at Central for many years.
