Earlier this morning, the National Scholastic Press Association released their Online Pacemaker Nominations. One of the nominees was Naperville North’s newspaper, The North Star.

The Pacemaker is awarded to student media publications from schools of various sizes who excel in national competitions and the Online Pacemaker is a category which recognizes digital media.

The North Star’s website, which is regularly updated with news, features and entertainment, is one way Naperville North students can read about school news. The North Star also publishes in print each month.

This is the first-ever Pacemaker nomination for the North Star.

Online Pacemaker nominees will be recognized at the National Scholastic Press Association’s spring convention in San Francisco on April 27. Winners of the award will also be announced at this time.
