In his recent YouTube video titled “Trying The Cheapest Makeup From AMAZON,” the controversial YouTuber James Charles exposed himself by revealing that he buys adult diapers. 

The Depend, maximum absorbency, 60-count of adult diapers appeared in Charles’s “Buy Again” section on the Amazon front page. The video was posted on April 8 and is still viewable on his channel. It is unclear why Charles is buying mass amounts of adult diapers, leaving it to viewers to speculate. 

I want to make it abundantly clear that I do not like James Charles. For the sake of transparency, I must also admit that I am merely using this opportunity to make fun of him. In that spirit, I have concocted a few possible theories as to the reason why Charles is buying adult diapers. These theories should not be taken as fact but rather as a commentary about who Charles is and what he has done.

My first theory is that he is preparing to plead insanity when he goes to prison. It is no secret that Charles has been under fire from grooming allegations in the past. Since nobody has pursued legal action yet, the only repercussion he has faced is the loss of subscribers and sponsors of his channel. I believe he knows it is  only a matter of time before he is incarcerated. He is readying himself by purchasing items to make it look like he has regressed to infancy and is clearly not in the right state of mind.

Another possibility is that he could be purchasing the diapers because he experiences accidents when he sees local police officers. The sight of any official inflicts so much fear in him that he loses bladder and bowel control. These incidents occur so often that he needs a 60-count package of adult diapers to sustain him. 

With the loss of millions of subscribers, Charles is desperate for any kind of internet exposure. Consequently, he is trying to restore his channel to greatness by appearing on the show “My Strange Addiction.” The show notoriously gives platforms to people who roleplay as infants. Charles saw this as an opportunity to capitalize. He is purchasing the adult diapers to play the role of an infant. The millionaire probably has bought and designed a whole nursery for himself considering the amount of spare time he has had since taking a break from YouTube to “reflect.”

My last train of thought goes to the idea of sponsorships. Charles must be struggling when it comes to sponsorships after the abundance of controversy he has been through. Maybe he is so desperate that this is his way of reaching out to Depend for sponsorship deals. Perhaps he simply loves their diapers and needs a discount. This would not be that far fetched since the millionaire just complained on TikTok about having to pay $100 to have his bag boarded because it was overweight. 

Charles should have thought twice before posting a video that revealed he wears adult diapers on YouTube, but apparently “thinking” is not his forte. It will not be long before he is entangled with another federal crime or as he calls it, a “sister scandal.”
