Cameron Rozek, Editor-in-Chief & Head News Editor
Cameron is a senior at Central and ready for his fourth year with Central Times as one of this year's Editors-in-Chief. Outside of CT, Cameron captains the Model UN team, outside of school Cameron works on his car and enjoys geocaching, building computers and competitive Rubik's cube solving. He hopes to eventually pursue a career in engineering, but never to give up journalism. Cameron wants you to know that if you are currently stalking the Central Times staff, you are invited to join us at any time.
Nathan Yuan, Editor-in-Chief
Nathan Yuan is a senior at Naperville Central and this is his third year with the Central Times. Nathan enjoys talking to random people he meets and is most interested in telling the stories of people in the Central community. In his free time, he enjoys solving puzzles, cooking and listening to Dolly Parton, Marty Robbins as well as the Beatles. Nathan wants to be a teacher when he grows up.
Jeremy Zhao, Print Managing Editor & Head News Editor
Jeremy is a senior at Naperville Central and this is his third year on staff. Outside of writing for the Central Times, he’s involved in the speech and tennis teams. He also likes to play basketball for fun, particularly dunking on unsuspecting friends. While he hasn’t decided on a career, he hopes to study economics in college.
Claire Yung, Online Managing Editor & Features Editor
Claire Yung is a senior at Central and this is her third year on CT. Claire loves writing profiles and getting to hear the stories of different people. She is in a lot of extracurriculars consisting of Speech Team, DECA, Class Council, and more. Aside from U.S. schools she’s also applying outside to the U.K. for college.
Isabel Zhou, Features Editor
Isabel is a senior at Naperville Central. Outside of Central Times, she is a member of Class Council, GEMS, and robotics. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, and making her own clothes. Isabel plans to study business management in college and would love to work in the fashion industry in the future.
Evelyn Krupicka, Entertainment Editor
Evelyn Krupicka is a senior at Naperville Central. Outside of Central Times, she is on the leadership board for GEMS and is a member of Senior Class Council. In her free time, Evelyn fences and blends blizzards at Dairy Queen. In the future, she plans on going into forensic science.
Connor McHugh, Sports Editor
Connor McHugh is a senior at Naperville Central. He is a member of the varsity football and track team, serving as a lineman and a thrower respectively. He is also a heavily involved at his church, as well as being a member of National Honors Society. In his free time he enjoys playing video games and watching movies at the Cinemark he works at, while indulging large amounts of blue ICEEs. He has yet to decide what major to pursue in college, but hopes to keep sports or movies at the forefront of his future.
Cooper Holmberg, Opinions Editor
Cooper Holmberg is a Senior at Naperville Central. Outside of Central Times, Cooper is a member of Youth and Government club. Cooper also plays travel baseball. In his free time, Cooper enjoys mountain biking and watching Chicago Cubs baseball. In college, Cooper hopes to study history and political science.
William Tong, Editor-in-Chief & Editorial Editor
William Tong is a senior at Naperville Central. Outside of writing for the Central Times, he is a captain of the Naperville Central Debate Team, member of the Naperville Central Math Team, and violinist in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras. In his free time, William likes to cook, play Starcraft II, and read sappy, dramatic novels. William has no idea what he wants to go into in the future, but hopefully it doesn’t involve writing about himself in the third person.
Luka Sereci, Business Manager
Luka Sereci is a senior at Naperville Central. Luka is heavily involved at Central, taking part in Senior Class Council, DECA, Distinguished Alumni Committee, National Honors Society, Chinese Honors Society, Chinese Club, and Athletic Leadership Academy. Out of school Luka Is the Vice President of a Non Profit charity that helps spread awareness for youth mental health. Luka enjoys eating yummy food and acting like a baka.
Gabe Curtis, Focus Editor & Podcast Host
Gabe is a senior at Central. When not writing and editing for Central Times, Gabe enjoys gaming, listening to music from bands such as Dayglow, Wallows and The Neighbourhood and sleeping in the middle of the day. In the future, Gabe hopes to pursue a career in the US Navy and a degree in something, but he's not sure what yet.
