Film Preview: “Annie”

In the original classic film, Annie is a red-haired Caucasian. But in this new rendition of Annie, African-American actress Quvenzhané Wallis takes on the role.

Wallis is a talented force to be reckoned with. She appeared in the Academy Award winning film, “12 Years A Slave” and was nominated as the youngest girl to receive an Academy Award at 10-years-old for Best Actress in “Beasts of the Southern Wild”.

Other actors in this movie include Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne and Cameron Diaz.
