On Oct. 16 and 17, Naper Settlement will be hosting their annual Halloween fest, All Hallows Eve. Located on 523 S Webster St in Naperville, the outdoor museum will be open from 6:30-10:00pm both Friday and Saturday. Tickets are $15 a person at the door or online at napersettlement.org. There is free admission for Naper Settlement members.

“It can get really scary and we have a lot of fun with it,” Trinity Filut, Naper Settlement volunteer and Sophomore at Naperville Central, said.

Rated PG, this event is not recommended for children under eight or people who are easily scared. Each of Naper Settlement’s historic buildings are transformed into various haunted houses with different skits.

“The haunted houses are a lot of fun and everyone has a great time,” Filut said. “It’s something most people remember.”

Different attractions around the museum grounds include the Torture Dungeon, Zombie Base Maze, Dracula’s Lair, Edgar Allan Poe Stories and more. Costumes are not allowed and only will be worn by Naper Settlement volunteers. This year’s food vendors include Genoa Italian Concessions, Dinky Donuts, Culver’s, Olde Tyme Kettle Korn and Joey’s Red Hots.
