Photo Gallery: History class investigates Central’s historic nuclear bomb shelter

Jane Thompson’s Modern American Social History class visited the school’s basement to explore and discuss procedures popular in the 1950s and early 1960s, like the “duck and cover” videos once shown to students. The drills were tied to growing fears of nuclear war.
