203 high schools announce revised end-of-year plans for seniors
April 17, 2020
Following a much anticipated announcement Friday by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker that all Illinois schools would remain closed to on-site learning for the remainder of the school year, school and District 203 officials have released information for senior students and their families pertaining to both end-of-year formalities as well as new plans for milestone events like prom and commencement.
Principal Bill Wiesbrook sent the following email to seniors and their families:
NCHS Seniors,
A few days ago, we told you that we were working on contingency plans to celebrate your accomplishments, efforts, relationships, and times at Central. Given Governor Pritzker’s announcement today continuing remote learning for the remainder of the year, attached please find the alternate plans and dates for senior awards, prom, commemorative and graduation.
These are difficult times and it is important to us that we offer our Class of 2020 the celebration and closure deserved as you head onto the next phase of your life.
Thank you. Go Redhawks!
Bill Wiesbrook, Principal NCHS
New details were being sent today to Naperville North seniors and families as well, with a similar timetable of events.
Central Times will continue to follow changes and updates to the school calendar and share new details as they become available.
