Boys cross country ‘figures out how to race again’ in first post-lockdown DVC meet

Redhawks claim two of top three individual spots as team finishes third

As IHSA sports begin their slow climb back into existence following a six-month shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Central’s boys cross country runners were among the first to taste competition again. Senior Arthur Graham finished second individually, while teammate and junior Nicholas Keeling placed third in the three-school DVC invitational held at Waubonsie Valley on Sept. 4.

1st Place: Neuqua Valley, 30 points

2nd Place: Waubonsie Valley, 47 points

3rd Place: Naperville Central, 52 points
