Taylor Swift hates poor people. When she’s not busy filling the air with smog on her hundreds of private flights per year, Swift is actively scamming her fans at every opportunity.
You may have heard that Swift recently embarked on her Eras Tour. You may even have wanted to go. If you aren’t rich, have fun trying. Tickets for the tour ranged from $49 to $499 without fees. Those $50 nosebleed tickets will give you a terrible view, and According to Business Insider, the average Swiftie paid about $1,300 for their tickets. The average ticket price is double what it was during her last tour, a sign of her huge ego growing even further.
Taylor clearly has some pull in the industry. For the Eras Tour movie she bypassed studios and made a deal directly with AMC. For the Eras Tour itself she could’ve found a solution for these absurd prices. Perhaps she could’ve made tickets non-resellable, or only able to be resold for the original price.
If you want to bring home a little souvenir after paying thousands of dollars, you’ll have to be prepared to completely empty your wallet. Hoodies cost $75 and t-shirts $45, completely absurd prices even for small artists. According to Forbes, Swift is worth $740 million, she has a private jet worth $40 million and the Eras Tour is on track to make $1 billion.
Right now, Swift is selling “limited edition” tour merch with the same prices as the merch you could buy in person. She is using the predatory practice of making everything limited, forcing fans to scrounge up every last penny and dime to purchase them right now instead of waiting until it might be a better time for them to purchase them.
Don’t worry though, Swift isn’t keeping all that wealth to herself. She gave over $55 million in bonuses to all the people working on her tour. We have to consider whether these bonuses truly matter when she’s emitting 8,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide in half a year from her private jet, equivalent to about 1,200 people. Swift is on track to scorch Earth’s surface before those bonuses are spent.
If the billion dollars in revenue from the tour wasn’t enough, Swift is bringing the tour to every single movie theater on Earth for her Eras Tour concert film. If you thought movies were expensive, just wait for the Eras Tour. Tickets at AMC Naperville 16 cost $19.89, about $8 more than the average ticket.
If you didn’t notice, $19.89 is a crazy reference to her album 1989. That reference alone is definitely worth the extra money they have to dredge up after they spent it all on the tour or merch.
Taylor Swift must be stopped. Her poor fans continue wasting all of their rent money for overpriced t-shirts, tours and concert films, all while Swift simply uses that money to destroy the Earth her fans live on.

I think you need to take a break. If people want to spend their money on her so be it, its not your own money. Also shirts and sweatshirts are going to be that price no matter which concert you go to not just taylor. I think you should let people like who they like and not highly judge them for it.

So quick to hate. If you did a quick Google search you would see that Taylor loans out her plan and is not the direct cause of all those flights. And let’s not blame Taylor for climate change when 100 companies contribute to 71% of emissions. And as for the tour, how much is a football ticket? That same nosebleed seat that “gives you a terrible view” is what people have bought for years to watch the NFL and no one seems to care. The Eras movie is for her fans that couldn’t make it to the tour, because she cares about all her fans. People went to watch Kanye listening to parties where he played music from a laptop but Taylor gets hate for performing a 3 hour show? Make it make sense. Oh, and she bypassed the money-hungry studios and made a deal directly with AMC AND is paying her employees a livable wage amid the writer’s strike, oh no how dare she support the union. Honesty, haters gonna hate, hate, hate, hate, hate!

You sound like someone who drew the small straw in a debate and had to take the impossible position. As expected, you did not do well.
