Nicky is a junior and this is her second year on staff. She absolutely adores writing and has learned to love journalism. Nicky finds that it is a very unique opportunity the staff has as kids to jump in as the press. At Central, she is involved in a lot of leadership. Nicky is a link crew leader, a student ambassador and a gym leader. Outside of school you can find her running or working. She also teaches an art class to homeless children in Aurora. The Central Times, to her, is not only her second home but also an outlet in which all staff members can step outside the role of a teenager and create something simply amazing.
